RCI Image SystemsRCI Enterprises Inc, dba RCI Image Systems was established in 1971 by Richard Corrales. RCI was designed as a service bureau to meet the document storage and retrieval needs of Southern California companies, municipalities, and institutions.

Over the past 48 years we have seen exciting changes in technology. Every decade of change has resulted in an expansion of the services we offer our customers. One thing that hasn’t changed: our dedication to service. No matter how robust the technology, knowledgeable and dedicated people are critical in creating a quality experience for our clients. Creating that experience has inspired loyalty in our clients, with some relationships extending back to our beginnings. We work each day with the goal of building long-term relationships in mind.

In 1991, Vickie Corrales started working for her father. Her role was to create a scanning division within a heavily dominant micrographics company. Over the years, RCI has transitioned away from all the microfilming and has become a completely chemical free company.

Our employees average over 15 years of employment with our management averaging over 25 years of experience. The exposure to various conversions projects over the years has given us the experience to be able to correctly interpret new complex projects.

RCI Image SystemsOur Lakewood facility is conveniently located adjacent to the Long Beach Airport. Our building is departmentalized into 2 sections, Imaging Department (paper and large format scanning), and Film Digitizing Department (film to digital).

The Imaging Department is located in our warehouse and divided into two areas: The source document scanners and the large format scanners. The warehouse has been designed for the workflow of boxes and barrels of plans from document preparation to scanning. An elaborate warehouse air conditioning system keeps the temperature regulated for the scanning and indexing stations.

The Digitizing Department is upstairs and the layout accommodates boxes and trays of microfiche and microfilm rolls. A separate air conditioner for the second floor keeps the temperature constant.

RCI is cognizant of the confidential nature of customers’ records and maintains surveillance cameras, a burglar and fire alarm system with access codes that protect our facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

RCI Image Systems is a professional document scanning company that specializes in making information easily accessible in digital format. Our dedicated staff brings unprecedented expertise in the areas of secure document scanning and electronic document management. Our document services include paper scanning, large format scanning, microfilm and microfiche scanning, and more.
